What we do
This started as a post in the Hyde Park/Oakley moms FB group with someone wanting to be a Grocery Buddy for families losing SNAP due to the government shutdown.

A Grocery Buddy buys a round of groceries for a family in need. Recommend $50/person in the household, but that's a suggestion. Options are to shop and deliver, meet at store, donate gift cards.

We matched 36 people our first day and registered as a 501(c)(3).

We've expanded our network to include our Norwood neighbors.

SNAP
Anyone with SNAP can apply. We serve Cincinnati, especially Norwood/Oakley area. We also receive referrals from agencies that support elderly, disabled, and foster families.

Remaining donations will go into a fund to continue helping SNAP recipients during emergencies or on holidays.
